” Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will bring a little of his magic to Evergreen Terrace by lending his voice to an upcoming episode of The Simpsons .

And to make the guest appearance even more juicy, Radcliffe’s character will spoof Harry Potter ’s box office archrival Twilight .

According to Entertainment Weekly , The Simpsons ‘ executive producer Al Jean confirmed that Radcliffe will star in the 2010 Halloween episode, ‘Treehouse of Horror XXI’. The 20-year-old actor will play “Edmund”, a young vampire who romances Lisa Simpson.

But Homer and Edmund’s father — who happens to be Dracula — aren’t fans of the budding relationship, and work together to break up the couple.

“Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons ,” Jean told EW . “We kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books.”

That upcoming Harry Potter movie is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , which is set to be released in two instalments. Part one will open in cinemas in November 2010.

Radcliffe also starred in (and stripped off for) the stage play Equus .”
